Malalay Joya is member of the Afghan parliament (lower house). Last year she was expelled from Parliament for comments she made in an interview with Tolo TV whichi was seen as insulting to some MPs.
In the new interview with Sediq Amarkhil and Lemar TV, she accuses some Afghan MPs and other authorities of corruption. In addition she blames internationals including the US for the invasion of Afghanistan.

Senator Joe Lieberman is best known as the Democratic candidate for Vice President in 2000, running alongside Al Gore.
Senator Lieberman was in Afghanistan briefly in late 2007/early 2008 and Lemar TV took the opportunity to interview him and get his views on various matters. This is his first interview with an Afghan television channel.

Recently Mujahid Kakar of Lemar TV held an interview with renowned Afghan scholar and expert on sufism, and also Afghanistan's former Ambassador to the United Nations, Dr Rawan Farhadi.
The interview was in respect of the poetry and spiritual writings of Rahman Baba and his Pashto poetry, which shows very deep philosophical thinking. In particular, Dr Farhadi talks about sufic content of Rahman Baba's poetry and in particular the detailed knowledge of the Quran and Sunnat of the Prophet (PBUH) exhibited by Rahman Baba's writings. Dr Farhadi has also translated some of Rahman Baba's rubayats and poems into Dari.

Jerzy Biziewski is the Commander of the Polish troops in Afghanistan, comprising of close to 1000 troops throughout Afghanistan.
Recently Poland agreed to increase it committment to Afghanistan by increasing the numbe of its troops who will be based in Afghanistan to assist in security tasks as well as reconstruction.
